Round 3 Recap: Vicencio Leads The Pack

Round 3 of the 2nd AR Chess Academy Classical had its fair share of tension and surprises. On the top boards, both encounters - Ramez Alskafy vs. WIM Jesse February and Shahan Abu Sayeed vs. Tunar Garayev - ended peacefully.

In the Open Sicilian – Löwenthal Variation, Alskafy Ramez (1806) holds WIM Jesse February (1996) to a highly accurate draw. Both players hovered around 98% accuracy according to the analysis.

Taking full advantage of that, Emmerson Vicencio continued his perfect run with another win, pushing him to 3/3 and into sole lead of the tournament.
