Only two rounds remain in the AR Chess Academy Classical. The current standings after game 5 are as follows:

Sacrifices On The Top Board
The game between Tuna Garayev (1740) and Shahan Abu Sayeed (1634) was a thrilling game to watch. On move 21, Tunar committed to a risky knight sacrifice on h6.

Shahan, with an extra piece but a slightly weaker king position, managed to fend off any potential attack but was unable to convert the material advantage. The game resulted in a draw.
Who Will Win?
All eyes will be on board one in Round 6 as brothers Tunar and Omar Garayev go head-to-head in a family face-off. With Tunar leading the tournament and Omar close behind, this clash could prove decisive.
After starting off the tournament with a loss in round 1, Mohamed Elhendy has made an incredible comeback winning 4 games in a row. What a feat! Can he maintain momentum as he takes on Shahan in round 6?

Another game that stood out was between Rithiha Balamurugan (1552) and Leen Aldawsari. In the opening, Leen eliminated white's dark-squared bishop and threatened to open up the g-file, exposing Rithiha's king. Luckily for white there was an opportunity to trade minor pieces into an equal middle game avoiding these concessions. Black's IQP (Isolated Queen's Pawn) proved valuable as Leen piled pressure on the king-side and launched what seemed like a convincing attack. Rithiha found the best move in a critical position (move 21), turning things around in an instant. A well-played battle from both players - and a thrilling one to follow!
